Hey Pigstreet! checked out the pictures!!!

New Haven was a pretty small town back in the day-
closest most big bands would play in the area was Hartford.
And I don't think Hartford was ever the same after the Whalers skipped town.
Still saw a few great Dead shows in Hartford but nothing I can pull up from the old memory banks.
I think I have more memories of driving up to Hartford and hanging out in the surrounding lots than the actual shows.
I will have to go back and listen to some boards and see if it jumpstarts anything.
It must have been sweet seeing the Dead in 79 in New Haven.
I really liked the music scene up in that area. I had a buddy who interned with the Lich so we got to hear some pretty cool music when he lived in Cromwell.
